Nice trucks, but if correct, these Tesla Trucks they DONT have sleepers built ito them, meaning that if a driver does one of those 450 mile drives, and if he wants to get some rest, he has to to to get some sleep while sitting in that drivers seat, right? Is the Tesla Semi a sleeper cab? It does not, however, have any sleeping arrangements for the driver. It's strictly a day cab configuration, meaning it's not suited for trips that take multiple days. Tesla's Semi is impressive in many different ways.
Electric vehicles hurt the planet more than fossil fuel
Its funny they are allowed to use Chinese built byd trucks
10:00 Elon punching the air seeing that BYD picker
I see these everyday and they are freaking awesome.
What the hell Chinese BYD doing there
Note to Morgan Stanley, my primary and only per se Stock Markets employer, and to our colleagues at Citadel, who I choose to include in this memo for specific reasons at my discernment for sound reasons to everyone's advantage: Tesla Semi-Trucks are more powerful, far quieter(mostly an advantage, a slight disadvantage also, and are at least equal in agility, control and in speed Tesla's have general superiority compared to conventional Semi-Trucks. Let it also be noted that Tesla Semi-Trucks have zero polluting emissions and for a small diversity of reasons, a variety of powerful decision-makers will continue to economically nudge the transport markets toward lower emissions. Thus, Tesla stock is undervalued. My no-hedge recommendation is a strong value on Tesla ; If there is any stock branching, our focus is Tesla's Semi-Trucks, though the company is generally quite sound and in my strong opinion quite undervalued at present.
now i know why they raise prices of their products for 2-3x
Its not only them, its FOOD PRICING ACROSS THE BOARD!!!! NOW YOU KNOW WHY!!!
@@Anomize23 because of shitty EV trucks ,they need 10 days from one side of usa to other
@@Mr11ESSE111 but you won’t get that definite answer and that tells you all you need to know what lies ahead! Buy what you need now and get ready to hold on to your wallets!! More expensive food, shorter shelflife food at the same time.
@@Anomize23 and food which would come later
How much of co2 is produced after those are charged such a lie and they all know about it
a solor panel roof for the trailers, may add some
3:08 ya the battery does rip to 80 and 90 odd per cent fairly quick .but he is not telling you that the rest takes 3-5 hrs to peak finish
All the way to the tonsels ⁉️🤣
The fun of left or ryt hand stering is gone the diesel engine sound gone not very nice at list put a speaker wth fake engine sound
FJB
😮😮😮500 miles range 😂😂😂😂 They testing on flat roads, normal conditions 50-70F and max capacity 50-65kLB lol In reality 80-120k LB , 90-115F or -40F and in back roads on mountains ⛰️ + 2-3 years drops 20% batteries 🔋 capacity in real world you will get 200-300 max lol 😮😢😢 Electricity ⚡️ Cheeper then diesel lol that’s what they said about DEF or Natura gas ⛽️and now is 2-4 times more expensive 😮😢😢😢
Next time I see a driver on the 99 I’ll ask him for his REAL experience
I want to see the power bill for that operation
Coca-Cola better
8:30 “I Grew Up On This Truck,” He Says. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE!?!?!?!?!? The Truck Hasn’t Even Been Out For A Year!!!!!
Any driver. Real life commentary
The problem is these vehicles only work in warm climates like California, not places like the Midwest, Just ask the bus companies that purchased electric buses. They can only go a few blocks before needing a recharge
Welcome the Ultimate fire hazard to our roadways, Sorry firefighters
E cars have less fires than ICE by % of vehicles...
A day cab the size of a sleeper cab is extremely wasteful for a video preaching save the whales nonsense. Don't drink the Pepsi Kool-Aid.
why are people so stupid? Nothing about this is good for the environment. Nothing. The entropy does not calculate. The battery tech or electrical generation tech is not there yet. this feels like social feel good bs. This does not reduce emissions or waste at all. To produce the electrical components is far more taxing on natural resources than diesel. Further, hybrid has already been proven to be better - ie turbine or high efficiency diesel to run a generator which then runs the electrical. Battery storage and solar is inferior and by creating a demand that locks in manufacturing will slow down an evolution towards a far more efficient means of power generation.
😂😂3 mega w to much,yep to much😢😢😢
i love how they consider 400 miles long range. Id love to see them somehow charge up in less than 3 hours on random chargers on the road. I doubt they have enough fast chargers anywhere to charge these trucks
in their parking lots
They like we already killing people but let’s save the environment
driver carries no cash
I saw Chinese BYD!!!
Well done Pepsi👍🏻
It’s a total failure project. We need another 15 to 20 years more to come out of fossil fuels. Plus Tesla is ok in states with hot weather only, in cold states it’s a complete fail. I remember when Canada Walmart and Pepsi decided to bring in 1000 units of Tesla trucks but later they dropped that idea just bcz of extreme cold conditions in Canada also truckers refused to be part of such fail experimental project.
No mention of the reduced load size to compensate for the battery weigh. It’s around 20,000 less load to stay under 80,000 gross maximum.
Oh gees a hundred miles
What a squeeky voice , find someone with a better one. Tesla what are you doing
Have they said what the payload capacity is yet? More than a year later and no one seems to know.
It doesn't matter much at this early stage. They'll be used where it makes the most economic sense. Most trucks are cubed out with a full trailer and not near the weight limit. As it all develops over the next 25 years they will slowly improve, as will the ROI.
@@davidmccarthy6061 It doesn’t matter to you but maybe the people paying for them might not agree . If a diesel rig can carry a lot more than an EV rig it will be much more cost effective (and probably much cheaper to buy the diesel rig). I’m far from convinced EV semis are a viable proposition for the industry. My suspicion is that Tesla aren’t saying because the capacity is so much smaller that it impacts its attraction as an investment. The fact they haven’t said after more than a year lends weight to that theory.
Omg shut tha hell up all yall crying babies that always come up with the ohh electric ohh gass ohh diesel did you all eat or drink gas or electricity? no sooo what's the point!!!!!! either gas or electric there's always some impact on the environment so go chill and eat a donut lol
So 20 or 40 mins to charged they said 2 different things 😂😂😂
Sounds like a good idea except for one thing the Pepsi that they’re delivering to the stores is poison people that drink it are drinking poison I don’t drink soda😅😅😅😅
fire
Electric is for ♀️👠, turbo diesel is for ♂️👞
From an economic standpoint EV's are good for everyone, countries done need to be oil rich to be prosperous, because anyone can buy solar panels an power their own EV's
Wait till they will have to replace the batteries and the power bill goes up. How efficient will that be?
Image how far this truck will go on a charge if they mated it with a trailer that have regen brakes in was peddle flow eqjipped.
The frist view of the tesla truck charges the kinda look like a ps5
They only carry chips for the longer runs and maybe sodas a short distance. A fully laden soda truck is heavy and knocks down the battery fast depending on the terrain.
Who is paying for this ?
We as Americans should have a choice, diesel or electric, communist California government doesn’t give us the people a vote on this!we are americans not a communist community!!!
Pepsi, keep this in mind, at the end of the day,the people made your company,if you push for electric for the whole trucking industry, don’t forget what happened to Budweiser, the people buy your product, not your customers
Are you threatening a company for exploring future solutions and efficiencies?
Truckers need to stop drinking pepsi and beer anyways.
Put solar panels on top the trailer
In the works and also powered trailers.
